06/16/2003 Far EasTone Telecommunication Co., Ltd. (FET), TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. (TECO), Systex Corporation, and MiTAC Inc. created the Far Eastern Consortium.

04/27/2004 Signed the contract with Ministry of Transportation and Communications as the official ETC operator of freeway.
08/11/2004 Began operation in headquarter.
11/26/2004 First toll station which located in Houlong was successfully operated.
11/30/2004 Inspection passing and completed the construction of front-end functional unit. (ETC systems passed the inspection on October 17, 2004 which is a month earlier than we expected.)
12/03/2004 Formal announced ETC construction.
05/15/2005 Completed the construction of front-end functional unit on Freeway No. 3.
07/15/2005 Completed the construction of front-end functional unit on Freeway No. 1.
07/31/2005 Completed the examination of front-end functional unit.
10/28/2005 The self-examination of ETC systems resulted successfully.
10/31/2005 Completed the deployment of both front-end and back-end functional units.
